.
Last year we had a mother woodchuck and five babies.
.
.
So far this year I’ve only seen one. One with what appears to be ripped abs…
A woodchuck 6 pack. Who knew?
.
.
He (she?) seemed to know exactly where the buffet was laid….
.
.
So maybe this is last year’s baby all grown up.
.
.
Adorable!!!

How many woodchuck pix would a Rivergirl take if a Rivergirl could take pix?
As many as it takes, for goodness sakes….and good pix is what she makes.

They’re baaaack!
Those abs should make her/him easy to distinguish from others, assuming any siblings show up, or if this absdorable (misspelling intended) one is a she and has babies soon. (I just learned that a group of a woodchucks is called a repetition – how appropriate!)

Oddly enough he isn’t. Birds and squirrels are what make him cackle..

How much wood did the woodchuck, chuck? Did you ever ask? I’m guessing A LOT since the abs are so noticeable.

Our chuck refuses to chuck wood. My snapdragons, mallow, pansies and petunias? Yes. He nibbles them down to the stalk.
