.
A few weeks ago the waterfowl landed.
.

.
A pair of mallards who have since taken up semi residence.
.

.
They come to nibble under the bird feeders and have discovered that deer grain and fox food is tasty as well.
.

.
We wake to the sound of quacking, and when a thunder storm rumbled by the other day? They flew in and took shelter.
❤️
.
I had coyotes howling under my bedroom window at 4:17am.
Wish it was coyote season….

We have them as well, but I don’t mind. They’re a necessary part of the food chain.

All I have are the stupid doves/pigeons the neighbors dogs Jerry and Rocco making noise.

I have a story about ducks. Three male ducks and a female duck. She almost drowned. It happened in front of my kids. “Mom, why are those ducks attacking that one duck?” Yep. Ducks. Cute. Mona
