.
Julia Child had an interesting idea combining turkey, duck and chicken… but I think this dessert might just have her beat.
.
.
Take your Turducken and stuff it…
I bring you Piecaken!
.
.
Two pies. A cake. Frosting. And apple filling.
.
.
For the person who wants a little taste of everything… not to mention a diabetic coma… in one bite.
.
.
Looks more like two servings to me.

In this case, one is too much.

Hope you aren’t diabetic. That is coma-inducing!

I’ve always thought the turducken was unfairly maligned. What’s not to like about three layers of meat?

Nothing. I’m all for it. Just don’t forget the gravy…

I have a bookmarked meme of chicken fettuccine alfredo rolled up and deep fried. Looks like the world’s most delish burrito/chimichanga!!

Hmm… I’m down with the premise, but in order for me to take you seriously this dish must be made, served and photographed.

I think I’ll like this more than that Turkducken…lol

I have an old blog friend from another site who made Turducken once. She said it was wonderful….

Yeah….not a big fan of duck so that’s a hard no. I too tasted it once, my aunt made it a couple of years ago, if I wanted bird stuffed with bird, stuffed with bird….it’s put chicken nuggets inside my turkey…lmao 🤣

I enjoy duck, but have never attempted multiple bird stuffing.

Just give me the bottom segment and I’ll donate the rest.

I don’t like pecan or pumpkin so it would be wasted on me.

That’s smaller than the famous one from Pennsylvania (and a few other places)… each layer is a pie inside a cake. One layer is choc cake and ?? pie… cherry, maybe?

Choc cake and cherry pie is a good combo.

Or…..I could take the $99, buy one of each cake/pie represented, and let my stomach due the mixing.

I’m not much for desserts and this looks absolutely awful to me. Why…why…? I cannot get into the spirit of this. I’m sorry

At one time I kind of enjoyed that sort of excess. Something delightfully sinful in it. Today, it is no longer a sin, but a misery ….

In this case, that’s not a bad thing.

As we head into the slaughter season, I wonder why we can’t appreciate the things that nature provides – my christmas decadence is a pile of delicious fresh fruits – mangoes, peaches, nectarines, cherries, strawberries, raspberries and so on – that with a wonderfully delicious plain and simple meal is the tops to me. I saw something the other day that I thought was wonderful “Love food that loves you back”. The side effect of that is billions (yes billions) less animals dying for our gluttonous guts. The corpse stuck in a corpse stuck in a corpse is just overkill. That doesn’t seem like goodwill to me. Rant over.

I wish I loved more of the food that loves me. But kale? I’ll never be able to crush on that.
