Let’s play.

.

Because deep down you want to.

.

.

First, a few obvious ones –

You’re gonna need a bigger boat.

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

You had me at hello.

Here’s looking at you kid.

Jaws, The Godfather, Jerry Maguire and Casablanca respectively.

.

.

Everyone knows those, but can you guess these?

Put some Windex on it.

What we have here is a failure to communicate.

Are you not entertained?

Take a guess and then comment one of your own.

  1. Cathy LOVES Jerry Maguire. It’s the only Tom Cruise movie we own. She says he reminds her of me. Imagine my feelings. This reply is written in small discrete sentences. I need to check my temperature.

  2. I could do this all day, and probably will unless you stop me.
“I can do this all day”
    “ROYALE WITH CHEESE!”
    “Look at me, teacher!”
    “You take this goddam chicken!”
    “I like it spooky”
    “Can we have your liver?”
“Nuke the site from orbit, it’s the only way to be sure”
    “Earn this.”
    There ya go.

      1. In the meantime, have a few more. I really can do this all day.
“I, a noble knight, swear faith to a squire?”
“Private____, you are going to be a god damn four star general!”
“Dungheap!” (Ask your husband if you don’t already know)
        “Follow the shoe!”
“It’s good to be the king.”
        “Tiberius? That’s the worst!”
“Why do I always get a warped one?”
Chew on these for a bit. Mmmm…tasty.

      3. Blazing Saddles is worthy of adoration. I’m not crazy about the Duke myself, as an actor or as a person, but the Cowboys was a really good film. Mostly, I think, because he’s not really the star, It’s definitely worth a couple hours with a bowl of popcorn and and any John Wayne fans you might know.

      4. My husband loves all those old John Wayne westerns and I have spent the last 38 years avoiding Rio Bravo, Eldorado and the Sons of Katie Elder. I shall not be watching the Cowboys if I can help it.

    2. Cool Hand Luke
    3. Gladiator
Cool Hand Luke is one of my favorite films, my dad watch this over and over if it came on cable. Of course I know MBFGW, story of my life except with a Mexican family, lol. Which is very similar to how a Greek family thinks actually. Here’s are some…
