Not content to watch David Attenborough’s new series Prehistoric Planet on my phone I headed out to the barn and began the mind numbing, hair pulling process of setting up Apple TV in the man cave. It took a while to make the connection as our internet service is sketchy at best… but oh, was it worth it.
.

.
The colors, graphics and scenery in this show are stunning …
.

.
And I happily settled in for hours of uninterrupted viewing.
.

.
All Hail Sir David! The passion with which he narrates stirs my very soul. 96 years young and still finding wonder in the natural world. I love him.
.

.
If you’re a dinosaur fan? You really need to watch this show.
.

.
Yes, there are T Rex and Brontosaurs and Triceratops, but it’s the weird and wonderful little known dinos that will steal your heart.
.

.
The giant reptiles really come to life.
.

.
As does our Cretaceous world.
.

.
At times it feels like a sci fi movie….
.

.
And I was loving every minute of it.
.

.
I zipped through part one..
.

.
And was halfway through part two with a big smile on my face when it happened.
.

.
Our *#%”ing internet connection broke and no matter how hard I tried or what I did I couldn’t get it back.
Grrr…
😡
.
Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll be watching that show next time I turn on the TV. Hope your connection issues are resolved ASAP.

I don’t know what’s wrong with it. I keep trying but can’t get it back.

I wish I could help but all I know how to do is unplug things and turn them back on. If that doesn’t work, I call for the professionals! (Or a younger person 🤣)

Do you need binoculars to watch that TV?

No. The picture is a bit deceiving.

But then again the barn is 24’ wide… so maybe I just have good eyesight.

The fact that there’s a full bar next to it doesn’t hurt.

I’ve been watching Obama’s documentary about the parks of the world and their strange animals. Quite fascinating – particularly the surfing hippos of Africa.

I love all nature documentaries. Where is that one?

I found it on Netflix – Our Great National Parks

Sir David also admires Lyars
As you know from my last post.
And now we know what transpires
When Sir David goes on to host
A series about creatures prehistoric
Which makes Rivergirl truly euphoric.

Nice job rhyming prehistoric.

I always chuckle when somebody describes themselves as being “x years young.” I never know whether to applaud their optimism or tsk-tsk over their delusion.
In any case, dinosaurs. Ooh! Cool!

Sir David is timeless. And I saw T Rex mating…. it doesn’t get better than that.

We have Direct TV but Satellite internet? It’s horrible here… slow and always dropping. Not to mention extremely expensive to set up. No one uses it…

Unfortunate. Good internet is hard to find, I guess.

SEE! I told you! If I visit Maine why on EARTH would I waste my time looking at water slap against straggly rocks when I could just show up at the barn and watch Dino’s eat people on a big screen while refilling my stein??

No people eating I’m afraid. But there is an ample supply of beer…

I am sure we can stream something that has T-Rex flossing his teeth.

I think the husband had that on the TV recently but I really didn’t pay much attention. I’ll have to go back and watch it.
