We have our bird feeder right up on our deck in front of the french doors. We call it CAT TV. They sit and watch for hours at a time, and fight over who gets front row seating.
But there is a comic side to CAT TV. The birds run up to the window and cheep and chitter. They know the cats are right there, but they also know they are safe behind the screen door. They tease our cats something fierce.

We have a family of sparrows that prance around on the deck railing right in front of Dudley. I swear they’re doing it on purpose. He cackles like a mad man.

Yup, it seems to be on purpose, as long as there is a line the cats cannot cross. Take away the l8ne and the birds become scarce.

I definitely can remember my cat watching H-Bird-O back in the day. Nestflix hadn’t gotten up and running just yet.

These are so cute. Facebook has got a lock on my interests because it’s constantly showing me cute cat cartoons and memes. On a related note, we’re dealing with our first ever protracted bout of cat diarrhea. Not fun. Vet has us trying boiled ground beef and rice. If that doesn’t work, we’re heading in for an appointment. It’s been a gross couple of days…
