Nothing earth shattering here this morning….

Just a melting snow in the backyard sunrise shot.

Spring is out there.

That is a SWEEET sunrise. I still walk out of the office in the morning and watch the sun come up.

I’m usually awake for them, but they’re not as all as lovely.

I’ve seen signs of her, too, but she keeps ducking behind buildings. I can’t believe how snow-free your yard is!! Even the south-facing yards are still knee-deep in snow here in Minnesota.

We really only had 2 snowstorms this winter. The last one dropped maybe 5 inches but it melted away a few days later. The thermometer has been a roller coaster ride lately. 20 one day, 53 the next.

Wow. I still have about 6 inches of snow covering my yard, here on the Midcoast. The again, we are always the last place with snow on the ground in this neighborhood. I keep threatening to have a snow-out competition for people to guess when you can walk across the yard without touching snow.

We have a few piles here and there but our back lawn is wide open and gets a lot of sun.

April showers bring May flowers….or in your case, March melting brings April mud.

Normally, yes. April is definitely mid season… but with so little snow this year there’s not much melting and hence less mud.

I can’t see the top half of the ant cartoon. Freakin Reader shows it as a chopped off header.

It’s two ants looking at a sunrise that isn’t a sunrise at all, just a yellow tennis ball.

And you’re not out there? Isn’t it killing you? Look at all that snow-free space to run (or sit with a pile of books)!

My knee doesn’t allow me to run. But I do sit very well..,

A lovely sunrise…and each day a little more sun means a little closer to actually Spring weather.

If you find it, could you redirect it my way? As much as I love snow, I’m hankering to hang out in that wonderful new backyard of ours now.

You’ve got plenty of time for that. Enjoy the winter wonderland. I’m jealous.
