I saw a shirt in Goodwill the other day that made me laugh.

Strategically placed boobies.
The blue footed kind…

.
As someone who reads 3-4 books a week, these statistics completely blew my mind. But oddly enough, they also explain a lot.
.

.
For my black thumbed friends who say they even manage to kill succulents… a beautiful solution.
My thumb is green, but even I’m tempted.

This is pure gold.

Love those Norwegian speed bumps 😂😂 and at 40km🤣

Farts Humper? Pretty sure we can predict the reaction of Beavis & Butthead on that one, and the idea that it could be an entire South Park episode.

Love this stuff. Except for the book stats. They are sad.

Very, very sad.

When I was in Germany many years ago, I didn’t know the word for SPEED is FAHRT, so you can imagine my reaction to seeing speed limit signs such as 70 FAHRTS an hour. Fortunately, gas was a lot cheaper then.

70 fahrts per hour?
That would require a whole lotta beans.

Wow, those reading stats are very sad, I read two to three books a month. I’d read more but with work and the fatigue/burnout from this goddamned menopause, that’s as many I can muster. And I’m still above the average, like you, lol. Did you find the book The Physician?
Hey! Are you managing to imply I’m your friend with the black thumb? 🤔

My reading stats are only that high in the winter, summer I’m busier. But if I have down time? I always read. It fits well with the menopausal lack of energy to do anything else.

Explains why my classmates haven’t reviewed any of my books 🙂

First of all, succulents are the easiest to kill by my reckoning. 😬
Second of all, do you track your reads? Like with Goodreads or anything?

I just discovered Goodreads thanks to a blog friend. I’m currently 34 books ahead of schedule on my yearly challenge. Guess I drastically under predicted.

Yay! 😆 I love Goodreads. Keeps it all in one place for me.

I am quite certain that I am the reason my local bookstore remains open and profitable. My otherwise supportive wife is losing patience with my book purchases. It isn’t the money spent. It is the trying to find a place to place more book shelves. She is threatening she will put me on a buy one get rid of one regime.

I hear you. It was a snowy/rainy day yesterday…. so I read two books. But I gave up trying to keep mine decades ago. I give them to like minded reading obsessed friends, relatives, neighbors and donate the rest. I’d need a warehouse to store mine.
Are you on Goodreads? I just discovered that…

I’ve read a few collections of short stories and a whole pile of bathroom readers since graduation…. but never an actual “book” book. Now I know where my sociopathic tendencies towards others’ emotions come from….. thanks! I mean…. uh, whatever.

The book statistics are really interesting, as is that Norwegian phrase. I wonder if whomever came up with that translation was an avid book reader?

Or an avid humper? Tough call…

I love those stained glass succulents.

A pot of those would be awesome. But at $60-70 each, a bit pricey.

That would be so awesome.

No wonder I haven’t earned enough in book royalties to splurge on that new Audi…

Well I bought one. That might pay for an Audi nut or bolt. But not both mind you.
