Fryeburg Fair, part three… where I’m in cow heaven.

.

Every agricultural fair in Maine has a few cows, but the Fryeburg Fair has multiple barns devoted to multiple breeds, varieties, colors and sizes.

For a cow lover like me, it’s blissful bovine heaven.

.

.

Look at that beauty!

.

.

Beef cows, dairy cows…

.

.

Large cows that pull things…

.

.

Gentle cows who enjoy a scratch.

.

.

Seriously big ass impressive cows…

.

.

Sweet baby cows.

.

.

There’s even a barn filled with Oreo cookie cows.

.

.

Cows!

.

.

I not so subtly pointed out there were even cows for sale to my husband….

But the man kept right on walking.

😉

  1. I love Cows!! I pass them everyday on the way to work, on campus and on the way home. There are three dairy’s and one very big ranch where I see black cows (beef of course) roam around all over 1500 acres they reside. Then there are cows on campus, and those cows are so gentle and they run to you if you give them a handful of grain. But we’re not suppose to feed them as they are for research purposes and on a very strict diet. But, I do and the horses as well because they too are so darn cute!
