Replacement windows.
They’re enough to drive a girl to drink.

And what better place than the Blind Pig with their extensive cocktail menu?
First up… a spiked pear margarita.
.

.
In a word?
Yum.

This isn’t one of my husband’s favorite places as the food is hit or miss, but the cocktails can’t be beat.

Round two was the mad mojito, but I requested it without the coconut milk top.
.

.
Mmm…. fresh strawberries and mint.
And thankfully the chicken tenders were amazing that day. Fresh and juicy with a nice crisp coating. Even the husband approved.

Back in the day, TGIFriday’s cocktail menu was a book. My friends and I would order by color, working to a rainbow.

Nice.
I’ll try that next time…

I remember TGIFridays making a Grey Goose cooler … it was wonderful but I don’t remember what was in it.

A former friend carried multiple mini notebooks of shot recipes. That was fun!
Ever had a Choc Cake shot (it uses lemon) or an Oatmeal Cookie (highly recommend that one!)?

The last time I did a night of shots I was hungover for 3 days. I have to pace myself with those.

To date, I’ve only had 1 hangover in my life (weird tolerance for booze). It SUCKED, so I respect pacing!!

I’m fine unless I do shots. They’re kind of like Lays potato chips… you can’t have just one.

Oh that Mad Mojito looks and sounds delish! So what did the hubs have as his libation of choice?

He’s boring, it’s always Allagash White beer.

Love the spiked pear in the margarita! I’m pretty sure I’d have ordered the same drinks as you.

I’ve been working my way down their menu but it changes seasonly.
