It was barely 20 degrees and with the wind gusting it felt like 5… but we persevered.

If the trolls could take it, so could we.

It really was a beautiful way to spend an evening.

So many places to explore, each one prettier than the last.

If you’re wondering why I have so many pictures of the lighted sea and lighthouse, it’s because my husband found someone to talk to and I had to wait for his conversation to finish.
No surprise there.

I wish I could’ve snapped a photo but on the way home from my brothers Sat night we passed a car covered in working christmas lights from top to bottom, it was a sight to behold.

I loooove seeing those! Very rare here cause it’s illegal.

Probably not legal here either

Speaking of “So many places to explore,” have you ever explored this place (I had you in mind when I mentioned it in my last post; for which of two possible reasons, I won’t say). 😀

I was wondering how many lights, so I looked it up. 750,000. That’s really impressive; can’t believe the Rotary Botanical Gardens here has double that, because yours looks every bit as gay and festive!

I saw that too, but we spoke with one of the workers and they said over a million now. But double that? Wow…

It was 1.2 million last year and 1.5 million this year, but they just finished a new pavilion, so that explains the extra 300,000.

And if I plug in more than three trees I blow a circuit.

Ha! We couldn’t get five strands of lights to stay lit consistently in one outlet!

Every single year I try to do something fabulous? Bam! Blown circuits and half lit trees, shrubs and rock walls. I don’t know how these places sustain it.
