Random nonsense.

Lord Dudley Mountcatten is an interactive television watcher.

Especially when it’s a Nature documentary on birds of prey.

Summer is coming.

You’re welcome.

It’s been a weird, cold and wet spring. We still have temperatures dropping to 40 so while the grass is a stunning vibrant green…

Most of the trees haven’t leafed out yet.

Not that His Lordship cares, there are still mice to hunt.

.

.

The Orioles are still here and eating jars of grape jelly faster than I can buy them. They’re beautiful and hungry.

A bluebird, just because.

  1. His Lordship is one handsome feline! Ohh winescicles, it’s Spring here but we’re already in the high 80’s and low 90’s. So these are perfect for a hot day. Orioles look so peaceful while they are slurping down jars of grape jelly, lol.

  2. My cat Red when I was a child loved to play television hockey… with the players. Every Saturdsy night he was in front of the TV, obscuring everyone’s views, trying to catch a hockey player. It took a year or so, but he eventually gave up.
In contrast, my later cat Loki took one look at a television screen, watched the credits rolling up after a movie, jumped onto the TV to see where they were going. Nothing up there. He looked back over the edge and the credits were still rolling up. It looked like he rolled his eyes, he jumped down, and never looked at the screen again. It obviously wasn’t real, so why bother.
These days two of our cats love to sit on the stsnd in front of the television. They block the view, but they look st us watching them. One of them always lays in front of the remote control box, meaning we sre stuck on a channel and volume level until she wakes up from her nap. Fortunately, those cst naps are quick. On the bed she lies on my lap for hours. I have to patiently wsit for her to wake up, or if necessary I wriggle my legs until it makes her too uncomfortable to sleep.
Cats rule in our house, we try not to disturb them when asleep, or eating. If they want to perch on us, we sre happy to let then purr…
