I love this time of year!

.

It’s been a long time coming but my favorite apple tree by the road is in full bloom.

.

.

Technically it’s a weird variety of crabapple that doesn’t fruit.

.

.

But who needs bitter fruit when you have this preponderance of fragrant blooms?

.

.

The scent is pure heaven.

.

.

But be careful sniffing..

.

.

The bees love it as well.

  1. We have a preponderant lack of bees this year. The dandelions are still yellow a month after blooming. Nature is out of joint.
Glad to see such beauty. Glad to know you still have bees.

      1. You ask me (I know you aren’t.) it’s the cell phones using up so many wavelengths. We sre interfering with the bees ability to live their lives, communicste, etc. I have been watching the bee populations shrink every year for the past 20 years. It might be coincidence, but it might not…

      2. Could be.
        Could be climate change.
        Could be destruction of habitat.
        Could be pesticides.
        Whatever it is, I’m sure we’re responsible…

      3. There 8s little doubt of that. Bee have been with us possibly billions of years. And in 20 short years they are floundering. “When will we ever learn…”
