  1. Thank you for the memories. What with the wildfires, the smoke making the air dangerous to btreathe, and the intense heats of late, we have no butterflies in our area anymore. Not even cabbage butterflies.

  2. The flowers are very pretty but I have way too much shade in my yard. We grow a native plant called a cup plant that looks like a black-eyed Susan on a six foot stalk and the bees and butterflies really like them. I could still go for a little more color.

      1. I had to replant milkweed for several years but seem to have a happy variety now.
        My butterflies and hummingbirds are FAR more attracted to the russian/mexican sage and galse honey suckle, both of which are thriving despite barely being watered.
