Destructive, but oh… so cool!

.

I have a pretty pink hanging geranium on our back deck.

.

.

I love it, but apparently I’m not the only one.

.

.

Something has been eating the leaves and I finally found the culprit.

.

.

He’s tiny, but is really doing a number to my plant.

.

.

Bizarre, yet beautiful.

.

.

I’m fascinated by these freaky things.

.

.

After a little research… I discovered he’s much prettier in caterpillar form.

      1. I wonder if it’s that cilantro/soap gene that makes me smell them so strong.

When I moved in here, there was a lemon geranium that smelled great… exactly like lemons… but it was ant infested and had to go. It’s the only geranium I’ve ever liked.

I think marigolds smell offensive too.
