The husband and I made a trip to York recently to visit the Stonewall Kitchen mothership.

It’s a huge store with a cafe that offers cooking classes as well.

I’ve always wanted to go because I love their products and this is the only place you can find their entire line in one place. The tasting stations are a helpful way to avoid buying things you don’t like and since the holidays are approaching there were decorations scattered throughout.

Two guys started it by selling their mother’s blueberry jam at local flea markets and it morphed into a major company. Sadly they sold out to corporate a few years ago but the products are still great quality.

I love their products, especially the orange marmalade. I’d enjoy visiting their brick and mortar store, but short of that I like their online website.

Well I’ve never heard of that store, it must only be on the East coast, but it look wonderful. I love that Santa ornament, because I love me a great martini! I get a kick out of the pictures you take of Mr. River, he always looks so enthusiastic…NOT!

I adore the martini santa!! I wonder if this will be the year I get my booty back over to Roger’s Gardens and their annual display/sale of thousands of glass ornaments. I regret never having bought the budda-santa (nearly $50, 10+ yrs ago).

We spent a little over $70 after the military discount so it wasn’t too bad.

I had no idea Stonewall Kitchen was based in Maine. I don’t get their products often, but I do like them. If memory serves, they have a jar of salted caramel that can go on ice cream (or straight in your mouth with a spoon). Divine.

This would not be a safe space for us to visit. My husband is the absolute Condiment King and I’ve pretty much tried to ban him from the Stonewall website!
