Life with His Lordship.

.

Lord Dudley Mountcatten loves his blanket during the winter months.

.

.

And woe to the human who thinks about removing it from the couch.

.

.

His Lordship has my husband well trained.

.

.

He knocks his favorite mouse off the ottoman…

.

.

And my husband catches it.

.

.

Again.

And again.

And again….

.

.

His Lordship is an odd fellow and has been known to sit and stare at nothing at all.

.

.

Yesterday morning it was the sun.

.

.

Lord Dudley loves his mouse.

.

.

And often goes full on penguin, tucking it under his belly.

Is he trying to hatch it?

Time will tell.

  1. He’s so adorable!! I esp love the 3nd piv!!

I love when cats train us to play!

I read a theory about cats staring at nothing cause they see more colors than us, but I prefer the theory that they’re watching ghosts.

      1. I have had cats and big dogs my entire life, from early childhood until November 2024. We were crushed when we lost our yellow lab Angus and pledged to never get another dog. We still had Olive. Right now, I’ve don’t want anymore pets. The heartbreak is too fierce.

  2. Such cute closeups! I’m glad to hear he’s a bit of a weirdo, staring at nothing like David Puddy and all that. It makes me feel better about Mango, who can be a bit of a weirdo herself. If you’re laying on the couch she’ll come up and face you, sit her butt on the floor, and just stare at you. It seems she’s deciding whether she wants to jump up for a rub or not. But seriously, she stares at you for a good minute, sometimes more, before deciding. Would love to know what’s going on in her head.
