They say we all become our parents when we get older.
Women nag and men yell get off my lawn! at the neighborhood kids.
So let’s take the test and find out how close we are to becoming our cranky parents.
1 point for each trait.

I scored a 9… so I’m almost halfway to cantankerous old bag.
How about you?

Oh my God. I’m at 17! And some of these have described me since… always. Maybe I have an “old soul.” Haha. A “geriatric soul” is more like it.

That’s funny!
Most of mine are recent additions.

Nothing annoys me more than passwords and packaging! Opening anything is impossible these days.

I despise blister packs and those Ziploc like bags that never seal properly the second time.
Grrr!

I have thrown economy to the winds and only buy Ziplocs with that little slider thingy. It’s worth the extra pennies!

One of the weird things about edibles is discovering all the crazy “safe” packaging! Ziploc bags only open one specific, weird, way; LOTS of innovative little tins that I want to keep but would need to repaint. The newest is a teeny square tin with 2 push buttons that have to be pushed at the same time to release the lid.. airtight inside. I neeeeed to figure out reuses!!

Depends on what kind of music. If it’s something I like, then I like the walls vibrating!!

I like it loud in the car more than in the house these days… it disturbs the cat.

I do forget passwords, but that’s not really a new thing.
I do prefer quiet most of the time and am tired of being in crowds. I’ve been there and gabbed about it all.
They definitely do not make things like they used to!!
I love staying home and love my sweat pants (comfort over style)
I say “Back in my day” probably a lot more than I should!(❁´◡`❁)

11 for me, I’m not quite there yet but are some that come close. I’m the one that is usually playing loud music when I’m out working on my yard.

Nine! I live among old people, who are at 20+ on the cantankerous scale, so I’m trying not to go down that path. (I don’t wonder why their kids never visit them, one of their top complaints.) Change happens, so I try to roll with it: but I kind of lost it when my favorite 80s radio station was sold and switched to a conservative news format. ;_; Some change I will not abide with.

Too many I said sometimes to. Not many are always, , and the rest are once in a blue moon.
Though I am now 76, I have avoided being regularly cantankerous, and when I do get that way it is just for moments. Gail says I am not cantankerous at all. But she loves me
