No Scotland, no party.

I’m not a soccer fan.

I don’t watch the World Cup.

But the Tartan Army has invaded Boston and I’m totally here for it.

40,000 Scottish fans descended on Foxboro stadium for a win over Haiti and in true Gaelic fashion… they enjoyed it immensely.

My father was a Scot.

These are my people, and I’ve never been so proud.

They drank, they sang, they marched en masse…bagpipers leading the way…. to Fenway Park to see a Red Sox game.

  1. That’s ma boys!

The Tartan Army is quite a phenomenon! I’m not there, but being a football fan, I know what it’ll be like. We used to have a bit of a reputation many years ago for causing trouble, and some of our clubs’ supporters still do, but when the National team plays in recent years especially, we just love to show the world what supporting your team in another country is all about.

    Respect. And fun.

And of course, we like a beer or two. 😉 And a dance. 😉

    🎶🎶Yes sir, we can boogie …. 😂🎶🎶

  2. I may have to drink a Warped Speed Scotch Ale (unless I can find an ale that’s actually brewed in Scotland) in their honor and watch them Friday. It might be sacrilege to drink that today while I watch England and Croatia. Now that may be a way to watch the World Cup – drink beer from the countries playing in each match.
