.
This damn knee replacement recovery is making me miss my favorite time of year. No leaf peeping journeys or hikes for me in 2026.
.

.
And due to a dry summer with some early cold snap nights, the foliage was turning at the end of September.
.

.
A N’Or Easter and a few residual windy days later?
.

.
Took their toll on what was left.
.

.
Things are usually much brighter in our backyard in autumn.
😰
.
Hiking next year 🙂

Being rid of the pain might be worth missing the fall show…maybe.

It will.

You do have a lovely spot to get your PT in though. Take your meds.

Haven’t taken any meds. They prescribed two heavy narcotics but I just took Tylenol and ibuprofen.

Men can have a hand falling off no pain killers females they will load us right up. Do not take too much Tylenol as they will destroy your liver just like alcohol.

I’ve cut back now. Only take it if I’m going to therapy.

It looks as if you can walk a lot in good scenery and no sidewalks or people waving nearby. Nice fall colors. I read my last blog about PT noting the man without legs and prosthetics who needed the appt. more than me. Right now, if I get 7 hours of sleep, all is well with my world.

I was wondering why the PT seems eager for me to keep coming when there are many others in greater need. I know she likes good students, but really…enjoy your day!

Because they want to keep charging insurance for your visits. I doubt I’ll last the whole 6 weeks.

It is part of the VA. For me, the price per session is excellent!

However, that does not mean I will over do it!! I believe after the next 2, a break and finish.

There comes a time when it’s just redundant.

Yesssss, Mike says ‘he will never go to Physical Therapy’ but I think it helped me to this place.

Yes, there are a lot of scenic walks in my neck of the woods. We do have sidewalks, but only down in the village.

The photos are gorgeous! I love a moody sky and the contrast between light and dark. You captured it perfectly!

Thanks! Though I can’t take much credit, it was all Mother Nature.

Well darn! Your area must have been hit harder than ours. We have had glorious foliage.

Ours started turning early, in late September. Then that N’Or Easter blew all those off. Had another batch turn this month but that’s mostly rust now.
