During the first few weeks of my knee surgery recovery I had a lot of free time.
A LOT.
I read about a book a day and caught up on some shows I had earmarked.

This Netflix series is a totally different take on the story, and while quite disturbing in parts… it’s also worth watching. Though I can’t say any of the characters are very likable.

I have two words for this new Russell Crowe drama about America’s homegrown terrorist.
Don’t bother.
My husband fell asleep while watching it, which pretty much describes the vibe.

Ted is back for season four and I was all in! Yes, he’s coaching a women’s team this time around, and maybe the plot meandered a bit more than previous years… but it’s sweet, funny and heartwarming.
I still believe.

If you liked Widow’s Bay you’ll probably like this odd series. The scenery of Newfoundland and Labrador is beautiful and even if it can’t quite make up its mind if it’s Canadian Jaws or something supernatural and quirky… I enjoyed it.
Of course I was stuck on the couch with an ice pack at the time, so make of that what you will.

This is another show I probably wouldn’t have started had I not been housebound, but it’s well acted and more than a bit addicting. Feuding spouses, shifty lawyers…
It makes me very glad my marriage is happy.
Ouch!

If you love Bruce, you have to watch this.
Heck, even if you don’t… it’s a very in depth, personal and intimate portrait of a humble Jersey boy’s rise to fame and the heartbreaks along the way.

A fast paced political drama with rapid fire dialogue that provides an inside peek into the diplomatic service and the workings of government in general. This is season four … I recommend starting with one and working your way to it.

An epic tale of adventure, courage and endurance mixed with heartbreak. The scenery is stunning, the story compelling. Definitely recommend.

Thanks for the recommendations!

Tenzing sounds interesting. I think you missed that blog but that is why I watched Jenna Phipps, Tia Weston, Emma Shaye. My husband introduced me to these YouTubers who renovate old neglected homes and make something beautiful of them. Definitely inspiring and helped me do PT. Locations in the states and Canada were gorgeous and worth the time. Your husband might stay awake and get some ideas!
