Random January shots…

.

I know the picture is bad and you probably can’t read the writing, but this salon I drove by last week?

.

.

Claimed to be The Best Little Hair House in Augusta…. and that made me laugh.

.

.

This is the January squirrel from our new calendar…. and if momma red dons a pair of skis? I’ll be sure to post a picture of that as well.

.

.

I think we’re all entering the new year with a little trepidation, aren’t we…?

.

.

Look!

.

.

Our contractor does exist! I even caught him putting on the third coat of polyurethane.

And I had to take this picture as well, because the husband is so thrilled he’s going to have a bar?

.

.

He walks out there everyday and communes with it.

  1. Get that bar ready and we’ll stop by in the LeeLander. I’ll bring my own beer. Yes! I finally found a truly non-alcoholic beer with ZERO alcohol in it! I know you are saying what’s the point? I agree, but it’s nice to pretend sometimes that I’m drinking a real one.

  2. At first, I thought the paint can was a Tip Jar and I’m thinking..That really is a Bar.
Also, the pic of the people reaching for the door handle is off. They are grouped to close together and not wearing masks. Lol

      1. That makes sense. Walls and siding are kinda boring. I wonder if he’s out there imagining where each bottle, glass, etc. will go. That’s what I do in the mudroom. I think, Hmmm, what will go best in that drawer? What should go up there? Down here? And don’t get me started on the decor. Which side for the antique skis? What about that unique set of hooks? What vintage poster should we get for that wall space? So much fun!!!

      2. No, that’s my job… trying to decorate with the few things he approves being brought in. And all the bottles will be mine, he’s a beer guy. I think he’s more likely to be daydreaming of the day he can actually sit there and tap a keg.
