He’s also obsessed with something new. Hummingbirds. They love the flowering quince bush and dart in and out all day… much to Dudley’s chagrin.

The great outdoors is like a free streaming service for cats.

And when the birds land in the bushes next to the house? He’s a riveted viewer. How obsessed is he?

So obsessed he misses meals.

I put our rescue cat’s bed by the patio door earlier, because it’s raining, and he can then watch goings on in the garden while getting 40 winks. Of course – he’s not spoiled either.

My monster cat sits in the window watching the birds. The last 2″ of his tail twitches. It’s HILARIOUS. Seems to be Morris code for if only this HUGE window wasn’t in the way…
