I love my town.

.

Not much exciting was happening in our little burg this week.

.

.

It was a very mild winter and unfortunately we’re all apt to have lots of Johns. Wait…. that didn’t sound right.

.

.

John gets around.

.

.

Bad puns. They’re everywhere.

.

.

A brazen coyote? This is where my mind went….

.

.

That’s got to be a hard way to go.

.

.

With a name like Tofu, the odds are good she wasn’t eaten. Even hawks have to draw the line somewhere.

  1. I grew up learning to burn ticks also. One day, I found one on our dog. I asked my hubby to get the lighter, and he said, “Why don’t you just flush it down the toilet?”

    Me: But we burn them…

  2. It wasn’t that long ago that I learned possums are good for one thing: they eat ticks. And ticks are only good for one thing: being eaten by possums. But let’s not forget the spiders. They are wonderful creatures and seeing a beautiful web always makes my day.

  3. I’m always fascinated by spiders – the different types, the way they move, and so on. I tend to anthropomorphise everything in my head, and then laugh at my own stupidity.
