.
This month’s squirrel has been doing a little gardening.
.

.
And while I never object to landscaping and property beautification, if she’s planting a tree next to our house for easier access…. I’ll be grabbing my ax and aiming for more than the tree.
.
Give up–you know SHE will win!!!!

Although I think squirrels are cute (albeit from far away) she’s really beginning to be a pest and I don’t even live anywhere near you!

I will outlast her. And outlive her… I hope.

When you said “I’ll be grabbing my ax,” I couldn’t help but picture — no, not THAT picture — an aunt of mine who was regarded as an old battle-axe. It’s a word I haven’t heard in some time….nonetheless, if you don’t want to be the butt of a battle-axe joke, you might consider choosing another weapon in your never-ending war against the squirrel.

Believe it or not I still say that. Sometimes it’s just the perfect description.

A fitting tribute to the fact that squirrels have been the biggest contributor to planting our forests by forgetting where they bury their nuts! What’s a little destruction here or there when squirrels have given us so much!
