.
Lord Dudley Mountcatten has been assisting my husband while he teleworks since day one.
.

.
And while my husband has broken him of the laying across the laptop habit, the office chair is still fair game.
.

.
Birds are still a fascination and the laundry room remains a favorite perch.
.

.
A few years ago we replaced most of the windows in our home but since Dudley took up residence, we’ve realized they are not at all cat friendly.
.

.
The ridge in the middle makes reclining a tad uncomfortable and His Lordship is not above voicing his disapproval.
.

.
Or trying various positions.
.
Be happy he doesn’t do as Sprint does. Leans his head against the screen till it pops out then he escapes. And ruins said screen. You should see what he has done to my door…..I should have gotten him declawed.
Ruined screens and brand new doors trying to get in or out.

I’ve never declawed a cat. And never wanted to… until now. I broke his habit of clawing the furniture but now he’s pulling loops out of my Berber carpet like crazy.

It’s good to have an assistant! Great photos and I love his name.

It suits him, believe me.

Love the photo of the good Lord gazing out the window from his laundry perch!

That’s his favorite spot. There’s a cedar tree right next to the house and he gets a birds eye view. So to speak..

He really seems quite regal and His Lordship looks like he could use a perch, although knowing cats he might never use it, or find a way to knock it down.

He didn’t use any of the 4 scratching posts or 3 beds I bought him. There are plenty of other things for him to perch on.

Ah, I love the tongue out, one. You really should put a proper inside shelf to help him.

My husband already complains I do more for the cat than him. I don’t want to push my luck.

Uh… no.
Unless you’re paying.

Your car is awesome. I bet that thick fur gets hot in the summer though.

He blows his coat just like a wild creature. Trust me, I know…. as our house is currently covered in cat hair.

Does he really mind the window? My cats all seem to find the most uncomfortable spots to lie down on and sleep.

He’ll perch there, but lying down is a bit of a nonstarter.

Tell Lord Dudley I have great window sills if he ever wants to visit!

I’m afraid that would be too hot for his Lordship. He’s a temperature climate fellow.
