The day was hot, the shade the bush provided was cool….

So the little guy just stretched out… and chilled.

It occurs to me that I’ve only ever seen a chipmunk whilst out hiking in the forest or mountains. It would be cool to have one in the backyard!

We have several. They’re cute, they dig tunnels like moles and more often than not I twist an ankle when mowing over them.
