.
One brave little chucker ventured out from under the barn to have a nosh with his mother.
.

.
Okay, he stayed quite close to momma…
.

.
But he’s still the only one we’ve seen out in the open.
.

.
They’re silly critters at this age.
.

.
And he was having a blast scampering all over the rock wall.
.

.
There’s a big wide world out there to explore little guy….
.

.
Enjoy!
.
Aww, he’s adorable.

Did you name him?

There are four babies that I can’t tell apart, so… I’m afraid not.
Hell, we’d named their mother Chuck. What do we know?

I think you should go with Daryl and his other three brothers, Daryl.

That might work.

Cute little guy, but kind of tough looking too. Great photos

They can look scrappy but are actually quite timid. At least ours are. Of course they’re well fed so that might help.

I have to find a live trap or a .22 lever action.
Will be HIS choice if he continues to be too damn close to my HOUSE.

I just can’t. No matter what the little varmints do.

Over the years ours have dug one hole under our bedroom window, but it’s not very deep. They use it as a safe spot when frightened.

mine use it as a HOME. Not good

No. Probably not…

Where else are they going to live? We keep destroying their land by reproducing more people. Take it easy. Maybe kill newborn humans to even out the score with the live trap or .22 you’re talking about?

Sure–today you are all sweet about the baby but tomorrow when he nibbles on your flowers you’ll be ready to get the gun out!!!

No guns. Just endless bitching…

That’s a cute critter for sure, until they start eating at your foliage that is.

He/She is so darn cute. I wonder if they don’t venture out if Mama brings food? Or perhaps it can forage right at the base of the house.

She nurses them fur a while, until they’re big enough to follow her. She shows them where and what to eat and then they’re pretty much on their own.
