Dropping one more post in the line up today because it’s Halloween… and some of my friends are disturbed clever.

Creepiest costume award goes to a woman the husband used to work with. She and her wife go all out for the holiday and seeing her dressed as Pennywise will probably give me nightmares for a week.
I hate clowns!

In keeping with the Stephen King theme, another friend had a party… and the happy couple from the Shining showed up.
Food is always important…

As is presentation.

Here’s hoping your Halloween is equally as creepy creative.

Those costumes….the Shinning, brilliant. But, I hate clowns as well, ugh.

The only thing worse than clowns? Antique dolls. *shudders*

I’m almost embarrassed to say that – at least in THIS part of Iowa – we don’t celebrate Halloween like everyone else. We have “Beggars Night” – the night before Halloween – when the children crawl through the neighborhoods begging for candy AND having to tell a joke in order to get it (some people give out shots to the parents). I guess it’s so the adults always have actual Halloween free for parties?? I don’t know…that was straight up painful to write.

While I’m all for the free dispensing of shots, turning children into beggars seems a bit harsh.

Pennywise will give me nightmares as well. Love the clever costumes people come up with; I’ve never been very good at them myself.
Not gonna enjoy those hot dog fingers. Nope.
