Junior has a weird antler pattern this year and is standing at 9.

Though the fact he still even has his rack in early March is bizarre.

He currently leads a harem of 7 does and 5 youngsters. Big boy has been busy.

You’d be surprised. All of our neighbors prohibit hunting so this is a safe zone. We have multiple herds up and down our road.

Hunting is definitely an issue and I despise that time of year. But a white tail’s home territory is one square mile so we’ve been lucky.

What kind of joke are you seeing? Around here most of the big bucks are hunted down, from airplanes, by merciless American hunters who pay big bucks to our asshole government for the pleasure of killing our wildlife. If I could I would shoot them first.

He’s lovely and his eyes are beautiful. It’s as if he’s just on the edge of being a man, but has some last bits of puppy fat on his face before he matures.
