When you live in the country, the news is rarely exciting or dangerous. It is however filled with eggs.

That’s one busy chicken.

Try as I might, I can not convince my husband we need a cow. Even a sweet, well deserving pregnant cow who will save us money on milk.

Fresh and free. You can’t beat that.

    Oh come on now. Do you really want to hand milk every morning and every evening for the rest of your life? There is a reason old country boys like me head for the city as soon as they can.
