April is here and so are the weird weekly creatures from my calendar.
.
.
Personally I envy them. If I could cut off this painful damaged knee and grow a new one? I’d happily sharpen my knife and start sawing.

.
Comparison of cartoon to actual creature?
.
.
Not bad, though it lacks a certain definition.
I’ll give it a 6.
.
They look full of protein. Wonder if they grill well? I could just keep grilling the tails and have an endless, self sustaining meat avenue.

A veritable revolving door of summer grilling.

I can’t figure out why such an immature creature would have such a difficult to pronounce name.

Why not?

Good question. And they’re pretty amazing. Where would we be without the rocker Axolotl Rose?

Don’t blame the creature, but the numbskull scientist who chose it.

I love it, it’s beautiful. I’d happily cuddle a stuffed toy look alike even at my age (because I don’t want one in a tank). And nobody grows up, really, do we?

At heart, I hope not.

The cartoon is more believable than the photograph…

Nature has a sense of humor. As well as the bizarre…

Oh my God, it’s adorable. It looks like a toy moms would fight over in Walmart the day before Christmas.

And if they tug too hard, fresh limbs. You can’t go wrong with that.

I think they are so cute! I understand the desire to cut off a body part hoping for a newer, healthier part. What a world that would be.

If my thighs would grow back thinner, I’d be sharpening my knife…
