It’s like they’re not even trying.

.

While my normal reader numbers have taken a serious nosedive recently, the amount of spam accounts willing to receive my drivel filled missives expands exponentially. Every day I zap more and more of these annoying non existent bloggers.

.

.

And while I give them an A for persistence, ( I zap two? Three come back. ) their lack of original site names is quite pathetic.

.

.

If you’re going to clutter my follower list, at least put a little effort in to it. Geesh.

  1. If you see new follower called Classy classifieds, Sassy classifieds, or Bad-assy classifieds, you’ll know that someone has taken your “put a little effort into it” (more or less) seriously.

  2. Following your lead [pun intended] a few months ago I deleted a bunch of followers with dodgy names– about 100. Sure to form they came back– or new followers with equally dodgy names. They are persistently stupid, I’ll give them that.

      1. I followed a blog that has over 23,000 followers. A lot of the content is very interesting, but all the husbandry kind of makes me sad. I write my blog for reasons that don’t involve anyone else. If my blog grows into the dozens, that will be as good as not.
I don’t feel any heartburn as concerns mediocrity, Shylock will bear me out. It’s a great smart-assed reference, you must admit.
I think I am more the one following your train of thought. Your content is smart, funny and very, very interesting. The thing that draws me inis that it doesn’t seem designed to draw me in. It is what it is, like it or love it. That’s what I go for in my own writing.
Anyway, I look for your posts first thing every day. You’re a total babe. ;D

      2. Aww, shucks. You’ll make me blush.
But I’m the same way, I blog for entertainment and don’t take myself very seriously. I mean really… I blog about wombat poo, how could I?
        🤣
