.
It doesn’t happen often. Our house is too far away from the woods and they have to cross a long wide open space to reach the buffet.
.

.
Matter of fact this is only the third time in twenty years we’ve seen it.
.

.
But momma fox brought a baby to the buffet last night.
.

.
And we were beyond thrilled. Baby is on the left, and as you can tell not a little baby anymore, but momma won’t risk them in the open when they’re small.
.
Careful. If they are Fox Demons, they might carry off your cat and squirrel…

Lord Dudley only goes out on a leash so we’re safe there. As for the squirrel, they’re welcome to her!

My wife tried to put me on a leash, but I wouldn’t sign it. Why she needs it is beyond me — a week from tomorrow is our 54th wedding anniversary.

That’s amazing. Congrats to you both! We’re still going strong at 38.

They are a handsome pair to behold, but foxes are crafty buggars.

Good. They have to be to survive.

Awesome! That shows an amazing amount of trust by mama in you and your property. I saw many fox while living in Idaho, but never a pup. Envious!

We’re rarely blessed to see the young. This was a treat.

Nobody puts Baby in the corner. Mama saw to that!

Maybe not a corner, but she does keep them well hidden.

They are beautiful. I’ve only seen them once.

They are, but then again… we have no bunnies.
