I admit we’ve driven by this place a time or two.
.

.
Without realizing it was a Maine landmark.
.

.

.
You can’t beat that for one stop shopping.

.
Wedding gowns next to the camouflage?
I suppose I should be glad the wedding gowns aren’t made from camo.
.

.
That’s one happy customer.

All you need for a shotgun wedding and reception.

Haha! It’s a nice day for a white wedding . . . gown!
If you haven’t already been, here’s a great stop in Woodstock VT:

We made it through IAN without getting blown around too much although we did have to evacuate our villa AND then our hotel room.
Wild waves, water, wind, weather and week!

It seems like I’ve been in that store, we love Woodstock.
Glad you didn’t suffer too much during the storm. It was a monster!

My dad grew up in Hartland, right around the corner from Woodstock. Gillingham’s was a MUST on every trip to New England.
The eye of the storm came a bit too close for comfort . . . but the initial tracks had it going right over our heads. So we feel like Artful Dodgers!

That gun-toting bride must have gotten hitched to the NRA, judging by the look on her face. 😀

It’s Maine. Hunting rifles are considered a fashion accessory.

First off, a wedding dress made of camo would be bad ass. Second, having pink and blue shovels in the SAME room as camo sends a mixed signal. Kind of like “we like masculinity and stuff, but “woke” is okay as well!”

The customer is always right. That means all of them….

So it is kind of a “safe space”, but not really?

I haven’t been inside, but I’m guessing there’s not much new age merchandise.

The sign pretty much sums up what you’re gonna find in there. Truth in advertising should always be admired. The picture of the happy customer is priceless. Part of me never wants to set a foot into this place (regardless of what fast food footwear I have on), but another part of me kinda wants to have the full, true “store experience.”

Next time we’re in the area I think I’ll have to…. just because.
