.
The husband and I stopped into an antique shop the other day and when he asked the cashier where the rest room was located? She neglected to mention the all seeing eye.

.
From far away this piece of art does indeed look like an eye.
.

.
Though when you see it from the side?
.

.
You realize the artist probably has a cellar filled with junk like ours.
Talk about creative recycling.
.
That would be cool to own but would suck if people only ever noticed it from the side view 😅

It looks positively demented from the side. Of course that might be a great deterrent to Jehovah Witnesses and door to door salesmen.

Huh. Kinda unsettling, but cool, too.

That is the epitome of . . . an optical illusion!

Disturbing, but quite clever.

First thought: that eye is super cool. Second thought: I’d hate to have to dust it.

I’m not sure if that piece is nice or just plain ugly? Either way I’m sure there’s a reason why no one bought it, lol.

It was bizarre, but quite striking.

Coming up with artwork like that takes real vision.

I’d say it’s a sight for sore eyes but that’s a little too on point.

Ok that is creepy. Plus who would want to clean it?

You do find some cool, Antique shops. I would love to do that, some day.

No antique shop is safe from my husband. No matter how obscure and hidden, he’ll find them.

Seeing is in the “eye” of the beholder, but also in the angle of perspective. Perspective here is highly impirtant. Love it.
