They never take long to fill.

.

My still bored by retirement husband was back in the underground den of detritus yesterday stacking crap on his newly constructed shelves.

.

.

It shouldn’t surprise you to learn they didn’t take long to fill.

.

.

We now have slightly more organized floor to ceiling crap. Among the treasure?

.

.

Mildew covered high tech.

.

.

An ancient rusted fire extinguisher.

.

.

And a box of money… which if I had known was down there, I would have cashed in years ago..

🤣

  1. That’s a pretty nice chunk of change. I would want to cherry pick it before I cashed it in. I’m still optimistic about the outcome, but I do see the resemblance between your Husband and the guy in your recent Mainer post. One big difference: You can’t see his junkpile from the road.

  2. Those wrapped coins! Anymore, my change just goes back into the next machine I come across that takes it. Used to have a giant glass water jug I’d save pennies up in. I remember when it finally got full and I had to start wrapping all of them up for deposit. That took awhile. That also ended my saving up so many coins at one time. Keep an eye out for zombies.
