It almost happened.
It could have happened.
I wanted it to happen.
.

.
But sadly, it didn’t happen.

Lord Dudley Mountcatten spotted her.

.
Lord Dudley Mountcatten stalked her.

.
Lord Dudley Mountcatten tried…

.
But the red squirrel menace was too quick and unfortunately still walks among us.
🥴

You don’t wanna mess with a squirrel… they are basically really tough rats who don’t need cities to survive…

Like Tucker… Our beagle gets so worked up when the squirrels mock him, but they always outwit him. 😵💫

Thanks. Planting was late this year, nothing is blooming yet.

Darn! Almost had her. Oh well, maybe he needs more stalking time outside. He could eventually get her to sleep with the fishes…lol.

Welp, nothing bad happened but a tale to be told. That red squirrel of yours is a bother, isn’t he?

Maybe with a laser pointer, you could have coaxed His Lordship in that direction a little quicker.

I have one.
Maybe next time…

Well, if you would release him and let him be the Hunter That He Wants To Be…😜😳
Kidding. We don’t want to lose The Lord!

When he stalks I let go of the leash, but I simply don’t trust him to be totally free.

Iago, our Pug, could not give a shit. He walks right through a congregation of Egrets, passes right by squirrels, and doesn’t give a cat a second look. He ignores frogs, skips around geckos, and will piss on a tree while observing a possum. He just does not seem to be interested in anything other than his snacks and our affection.

Two types: Pupperoni and some peanut butter one. He likes them both.

Perhaps if the cat wasn’t leashed he’d have a better chance
