Random nonsense

Whoever said if you don’t like the weather in Maine, wait a minute wasn’t kidding.

This is what early June looks like. It’s enough to give you whiplash.

Another one bites the woodchuck dust. It was a fully bloomed stock. Graceful stalks filled with fragrant pink blossoms. May she rest in peace.

Route 1 in Wiscasset was closed last week due to an accident. Apparently the Wicked Witch was in town.

This hall closet contains coats, (spell check changed that to goats which would have been much more blog worthy, sorry) assorted LL Bean bags, a pair of snow boots, extension cords, a pillow, two blankets, a step stool, 4 umbrellas, a lobster pot and the air conditioner we just put in the window.

Since it’s always full of the aforementioned clutter, Lord Dudley Mountcatten only gets to explore it twice a year and made me wait half an hour to put all the stuff back in there.

Cats.

They’re easily amused.

  1. Were you tempted to close the closet on Lord Dudley and leave him in there for a while? I don’t know if it would’ve taught him a lesson, but considering what he might have done, it probably would’ve taught you one!

  2. Well that little accident is going to cost the mobile home haulers a pretty penny. His Lordship is so cute, even when he’s just looking around. Sorry about the blooms…ugh those destructive chuckers.

  3. Lord Dudley looks like my TwentyFive in those pics.

You’re lucky… my closet has no doors and the cats have decided its a supplemental pee room. I put down washable training mats but it’s BAD!!

      1. I’m not kidding… I see how crazy cat lady hoarders happen cause, even though I’m starting to feel human again, it feels like I can’t stop the progression.

  4. I hope the house killed the wicked witch this time. 😜
You’ll have to get plant stands for your potted plants; the woodchucks can only reach up so high. I know this because I have a short dog who loves to eat my potted plants.
