.
I drove home under some ominous skies the other afternoon.
.

.
And woke up to our first dusting of snow.
.

.
It was gone by mid day just in time for our contractor to drop by between jobs and seal up the new windows with some not so attractive foam.
.

.
He’s finishing off a barn next door that’s taking longer than planned but as soon as he’s done he’ll be back over here to finish our nightmare project.
.

.
As usual, Lord Dudley Mountcatten couldn’t care less.

.

Lord Dudley has it rough! Glad your contractor got the windows sealed. Otherwise, brrr.

We really haven’t had any cold weather yet. Winters aren’t what they used to be…

Tara defines that as a “skiff.”

The sky, the snow… or the cat?

The snow, lol.

We don’t even dignify that with the word snow, but it’s all we’ve had so far… and that’s sad.

It was a very eerie light that day, but thankfully no trip to Oz.

Your contractor is a good guy, he’s dropping in and making sure y’all aren’t suffering through any adverse weather. His Lordship looks so adorbs with his mouse binky next to him, lol.

We do like him. Just wish he worked a little more quickly…

We just set a record here for the longest number of days without an inch of snow. It is really weird. There were a couple of flurries the other day but at first I thought maybe someone was just open burning some stuff. Turned out to be actual flurries, but stopped almost as soon as the started. His Lordship is certainly in dreamland when that picture was taken.

His Lordship does not exert himself unnecessarily.
