Christmas can look a little different up here as well. Northern Maine is potato country…. and in Aroostock county?

Farther south? It’s all about the lobster and trees are made out of buoys….

As well as traps.

He arrives on a lobster boat, with an extra large lobster riding shotgun.

It’s fun to see a coastal view of Christmas when I have such a “middle America” view of the holiday. Though we didn’t visit the “town,” Andorra has a town with a population of 1, also. Llumeneres, Andorra and the town north of Bangor should definitely become sister cities.

While I love living in the country like we do, I can’t imagine being that isolated.

The town in Andorra is only a short drive from the capital, so it’s the best of both worlds.
