.
When last reported, there was a hole in my wall and a hole in my floor.
.

.
Both of these were plugged with appropriate materials.
.

.
And then, presto…
.

.
(Presto in this case meaning 6 months after we started)
.

.
There was a new bedroom door.
.

.
Of course it was also late on a Friday afternoon so outdoor trim had to wait.
😉
.
At least there is progress and not another setback

Each project is only allowed so many setbacks. This door reached its limit…

Despite all the trouble you had getting to this point, it’s a beautiful door. Like the way it let’s light in.

Today is not Thursday and that door is laying down on the job. Extra points to Huff-n-Puff for creativity…

I’m happy that this got fixed, but I suppose I never bothered to ask, you have an exterior door in your bedroom? Have you ever considered just closing it up and making it a window? I suppose it would take another four years to get that done….🤣.

Our master bedroom was an addition to the house years ago. For safety purposes it needs an exit …. The front and back doors are too far away in case of fire.

YAAAAY!!
My kitchen exterior door was replaced years ago and I still don’t have interior trim!

I think 6 months is long enough.

I see a trend, with this “six months” thing—but it looks good! i also wanted to comment on the quality of your pictures. I can see what you did! Also, nice to have the outdoors exposed correctly as well. All real estate agents should have such photo skilz.

Six months seems to be our magic number when it comes to quick renovation projects…

What’s that saying? Good things come to those who wait?

I’m definitely putting that statement to the test….

You are the poster child for that statement. Then again, we’re waiting 3.5 years for our new travel trailer, so make some room for me on that poster.
