I’m usually up early in the morning and often see the moon go down.

It’s beautiful in the winter….

Bouncing off the white snow, against a blue sky.

.
So I brave the cold and trot out front in my pajamas for a few nice photos.
To find I’m not the only one with that idea.

We have large open spaces around our property and people often stop for Kodak moment.

Good thing he was facing the other way. No one needs a picture of me at 5:00am wearing penguin pj’s.

That moon with the snow and sky is absolutely lovely. Yes, I could get up early in a morning for that. Even if cold. I have fallen in love with that view.

Beautiful pics, Riv. I see the moon come up, and sometimes the sun, from my porch and sometimes I also get a look at someone across the road taking a picture and reminding me of how lucky I am to get the same shot from my front porch.🙂

One of the few things I miss about no longer working is that I am not out on my bike at 6 AM to watch the moon set over the lake on my ride to work. I could be, (riding at 6 AM) but I’m not.

I’m up early too though no wide spaces around my place so I have to be really lucky to get a shot of the moon! I’m sure you look absolutely precious in penguins! Prove me elsewise!

The cool thing about seeing the moon as it’s setting is it looks bigger closer to the horizon. Unless it really is getting bigger and then we might be in trouble.
