Everyone is welcome at our backyard buffet.
We feed birds, deer, ducks, woodchucks, fox, raccoons, skunks, a sometimes opossum and the occasional pheasant.
We never know who’ll show up and in what combination.
.

.
Fox and duck is an odd one.
.

.
In normal circumstances fox would eat duck.
.

.
But with a steady food supply…
.

.
They’re dining partners instead.
😊
.
Everybody stay chill…it’s all good!🙂

A natural “No-Agression” Zone. Do you think you can get Netan’yahoo, Hamas, Putin, and Ukraine there? (Please note, I did not invite Israel, Palestine or Russia, they have nothing to do with this except supply troops under orders!) Maybe we could find a way towards a peaceful world.
(Yes there are other agressors in the world, but if you could bring peace to these 4 combatants, others will follow!)

If a bowl of grain and assorted produce will help, sure. Send ‘em over.

I would if I could, but they don’t listen to me. They don’t like pacifists!

Just as well, the ducks don’t like to share.

Fox and Duck, good name for a children’s book. Fox and Duck dine in the morning and at night.

Technically the fox only dines at night, but still a cute idea.

It’s a good thing there aren’t any bears! Bears out here are getting quite aggressive.

We’ve had them in the backyard, but it’s rare. … only a few times in 20 years.

How to get a fox, a duck, and a bag of grain across a river in a single rowboat without anyone getting eaten is an old riddle. Maybe you’ve solved it, if willing to sacrifice a bit of grain.

I thought that was a scorpion and turtle…

I can’t imagine wanting to take a scorpion anywhere.
