Great sequence of stories, Rg. But I have one concern. Male or female does not matter, where does it find a mate? A moth that size is surely a target for your Cooper’s Hawk. And if a female, a male will be coming to it. Now there’s two bites for your hawk. Nature xan be quite cruel.
My fingers are crossed for Polly!

We are. He’s a nature and animal lover like me, always bringing home injured birds and relocating critters.
The nice thing about Polly is he/she picked a portable location and can be moved if needed.
