You’re probably safe unless the squirrel brings friends or they start to grow larger. I understand red squirrels live 3-5 years, so you should outlive your nemesis. On the other hand, you have the makings for a horror movie.

I had a friend a few years back who wrote horror stories about squirrels. I’ll see if I can find a copy of his book for you! Poor guy died of MS.

I’d be catching up reading on the grass in a bit of sun when a pack of squirrels came charging at me. I was at eye level with them and it was a frightful view.
