,
These winter pictures popped up on my Facebook memories recently and I thought it would be fun to share.
.

.
Backyard deer on their path. They don’t stray very far from it once it’s cut.
.

.
That’s my husband shoveling out our neighbor who thought she could make it down her driveway in her car before plowing.
.

.
She couldn’t.
.

.
And here’s my husband a year later pushing his snowblower next door….
.

.
To help dig out her husband’s plow truck.
My husband is a good neighbor to have.
.

.
This is Mr. White, a beautiful boy who is no longer with us. He always wanted to go outside in the winter…
.

.
But didn’t really like it once he got there.
❤️
.
Awwwe. Mr White looks so cute there in the photos.
It’s interesting how the deer stay in a line using the path that they created.
And yes, your husband is a good neighbour for doing that.

Cutting through ice crusted or heavy snow uses up precious winter calories that are hard to replace. Deer will always take a path or driveway for easier walking.
Mr. White was quite a character.

Mr. White is a beauty. Good thing for those spots of black fur or he might never be found in all that snow. Nothing, and I mean nothing, beats good neighbors.

Worth their weight in gold, for sure.

I can imagine the neighbor thinking, “But it’s an SUV! It can go anywhere!” No, it’s a tall station wagon, but station wagons are no longer fashionable.

I also have pictures of her catching the riding lawn mower on fire because she tried to mow a field. Never a dull moment.

I keep looking at that deer picture and it really seems like there’s more deer heads than deer bodies. Funny how they’re all turned around looking, though…

I miss snow, even if it’s easier to walk the dog without snow and ice. Your husband is the ultimate neighbor!

Aww, Mr. White. 💜
Your husband is one of the good ones- just like my dad and my hubby. 💜

Beautiful photos. I love the deer and Mr. White. Your neighbor, I’m questioning a bit.

Mr. White is almoat the spitting image of an old rescue cat who came to live with us, Everything was white but his bonnet, his tail, and his front toes. I still think of him once in a while. He was a beast among cats…

This Mr. White wandered in one day and never left. Sometimes you find them, sometimes they find you…

Mr. White always makes me think of criminals (Breaking Bad, Reservoir Dogs). I trust the only thing yours was guilty of was blending into the background.

I just watched a fascinating documentary on Walter White, co founder of the NAACP, and all I could think of was Breaking Bad. That show has legs.
