We’ve had a single fox visitor on and off all winter, but the other evening?
.

.
He may have brought his wife.
.

.
Or husband, or brother, or second cousin.
.

.
No matter who the plus one was,…
.

.
He was fit, healthy and beautiful.
.

.
And now there are two.
.

.
Which is twice as much viewing pleasure.

They’re beautiful. We used to have foxes, but I haven’t seen any in years. We have coyotes, but they take off in a flash. The foxes were less afraid and if you made smoochy noises at them or talked to them, they’d stop, turn around, and stare at you. You are so lucky to have two to make smoochy noises at!

We don’t smooch, just watch them from inside. I hear coyotes all the time but have only seen them once, loping across the field next door.

You think they’d be used to the paparazzi by now.

What beautiful creatures. Like many others in the UK (urban London) we feed a couple of red foxes in our back garden

Amazon UK sells bags of Fox/badger food but they won’t ship it here. I asked a vet and he told me to feed them grain free dog food with taurine so we do that. Fresh berries too.

I have yet to see a fox in my backyard, but I’ve heard them and seen their burrows. I figure it’s only a matter of time.

Ours only come out at night to eat. You have to be watching…
