Though the deer are lucky… as no one else wants their grain.

Three deer and three raccoons.

All are welcome.

But I really enjoy watching these little devils tussle and push each other out of the way for the best spots.

Nah. A group of raccoons is called a nursery or a committee. At worst, a gaze.
A group of crows is a murder.
I’ll take my chances with the trash pandas.

I spread the food out in a line, from one end of the pole to the other but they always seem to bunch up together over the same spot. Silly buggers.

I put out old cat toys for the raccoons to pkay with. Several nights ago, one discovered a toy that’s been outside for months, then spent 3 nights tearing it up to get to the ball trapped inside. Last night, he got the ball, then spent an hour+ trying to get inside the ball. I hope it didn’t eat the plastic!
