.
We’ve had some super bright moons this month which makes for better backyard deer photos.
.

.
Until said deer spots you through the window and runs.
.

.
It’s amazing how much they play, running, roughhousing and even kicking each other.
.

.
Maybe it was a full moon influence.
.

.
And no, we don’t live on Tatooine…
It’s just a triple moon reflection on the window.
😉
.
I love watching the deer play just like a bunch of little kids. ♥♥♥

One summer I watched triplet fawns grow up right near my back yard. I got some great pictures. You may have seen them on Blogster. (Is that site still working? I would have no idea how to sign into it now)

No, I think Blogster died years ago. That’s why I moved here.
But wow. We had twin fawns one year and I thought that was special. Triplets? Awww!!

I will do a post on them. The pictures aren’t the best. It was way back when I had a 1 mp camera, and it was early morning for most of them so the light wasn’t really good.

Lovely.
And I can’t help but think of those deer as I sit here, reading, and listening to the rats scurrying in my walls…

Rat X.
I’m telling you…

Will they burrow somewhere other than I my walls? Because I’m this close ][ to buying some.

It will dehydrate them to death. And won’t hurt any animal other than mice and rats. Buy the $34 bag on Amazon and spread it liberally, making sure it doesn’t get wet. They eat, they die.
Of course if you’ve got a squirrel or something else burrowing, it won’t help.

I just don’t want them dying in the walls. That smell is awful and I don’t want to deal with that ever again. Last time it happened, it was summer and a heat wave. Oh God that was awful.

That’s the great thing about Rat X, it literally dehydrates them from the inside out. The bodies desiccate and there’s no smell.

There’s a $34 bag on Amazon that should last a while. But be generous when you lay it, they have to eat a certain amount for it to work.

Oh, I’ll be generous. Very, VERY generous…
Revenge is a dish best served cold. Rat-X is very cold.

Those aren’t the droids you’re looking for either.

Those deer definitely enjoy their visits. I am sure they are over the moon about having such a place to hang out at.

And they do hang out. After eating they wander around the backyard for hours…

Can’t stop thinking that there might be a werewolf lurking somewhere.
The pictures are just magical!

Rest assured if there is… I shall photograph it and report back.

Very surreal looking. Do you think they knew you were filming them?

They know. If I move too much in the window, they’ll run.

Great photos! Love the full moon and all your deer. I’ll trade you javelinas for deer!

I don’t think those little piggies would like the snow, but if I can talk my husband into letting me bring them in the house? You’re on!

I hate to let you know this, but you wouldn’t be able to stand let them in your house. They have a scent gland on their bottoms that reeks!

They always do. It’s wide open, and a safe zone.
